Original size 1600 × 1197 px

In this pattern the warp is white and the weft is red and black. The warp alternately binds one and the other weft thread. This fabric type differs from the double fabric in that it has only one warp thread system, but also two weft threads, here red and black. That’s why you can see vertical three white boxes to one red, but three black to one white, depending on which layer of the fabric is actually on top. Note: this is not a photo of a fabric, but a pattern drawing.
