Elementary school of Broekhem: The visit of the veterans left a great impression on the children and colleagues. It was good that there was room for discussion (through questions) in which it was nice to see the connection between the veterans and the children. Talking about the past and that even now (or right now) peace is not a self-evident thing.
Let’s hope that the children of today are the wise adults of tomorrow.

I really loved hearing all the stories from the veterans themselves. It is an experience that most people will never go through. I also thought it was very important that we remember that these Veterans fought for our country. I also think it is very important to talk about this so that we never forget what happened. Especially to children, because children don’t often think about the fact that there are people who fought for our country. It was a beautiful experience to never forget.
