What mean freedom and peace to me? Claar Habets

The visitors, young and old, asked themselves this question when formulating their peace wishes.

They could write their own peace wish on a paper bird which was then hung in the peace tree, see next page.

A poem helped them articulate their thoughts of peace.

Vocal Society Orphée Houthem graced the service led by Bianca Lenssen and accompanied by Arno Kerkhof with appropriate music.

The emotional celebration concluded with the song :
We’ll meet again (by H. Charles and L. Parker) performed solo by Bianca Lenssen.

Together we can look back on a very special Peace Celebration in which experiences and emotions had a place.
