Valkenburg & surrounings

The rayon (subdistrict) Valkenburg of the resistance was conveniently classified according to the boundaries of the parishes of Valkenburg, Berg and Terblijt, Schin op Geul, Sibbe, Houthem-St. Gerlach, Houthem and Margraten, because the church was the only organization that was allowed to continue working during the occupation. There was a narrow collaboration with Klimmen.
